Hello Anh Viet Thao,
My name is Steve T Simons, formerly known as Khoa V Tran,(Con Lai). I left Bataan Philippines for the US in 1984. It never crossed my mind that Bataan, Phlippines is now a deserted place would come back to me again, until I saw your DVD the other day. You and your crew have done a fantastic job documenting the living hardship of the Vietnamese Boat People who are still living in the Philippines, where they are NOT nationally recognized by the government. It has been more than 20 years since I left Bataan. I am so touched by the images and I hope that with God helps, these unfortunate Vietnamese folks will soon find place/places where they can call home, so they and their children can have a better future. I was in tears during the filming of you interviewing Di Xuan? I wish I was there, so I can share Di Xuan and others Vietnamese people pain and frustration. When I saw these poor Vietnamese folks in the Philippines, they remind me of me when I was still living in Viet Nam before 1984. Being Con Lai never was easy for me in Viet Nam because I never was accepted by the government over there. My sincere apology for writing in English because I can only read, speak, but NOT able to write in Vietnamese. I Left school after my third grade in 1975. My gratitude to you and to your crew for going extra miles to help these poor Vietnamese folks out.

| Minh thay nguoi ky ten VY rat la han hoc voi Trung Tam Van Son nen post luon 1 luot 4 cai cung noi dung nhu de trut con tuc gian cua minh.Khong nen thay nguoi khac lam hay , duoc khan gia yeu thich roi buc tuc. |

| Cat Tien de thuong nhung hat do qua. Phat am ngong ngiu nghe kho chiu qua. Nu cuoi luc truoc de thuong bay gio CT lai overuse nu cuoi ay dam ra nhin rat la khong tu nhien hon nhien nua... Please don't sing more than once.. Cann't you get other mature singers who can sing better? ie.. Thanh Ha...Come one.. Looks only do so much..Comedy very cheap and skits sounded dumb ! Seemed like they made it up at the last minute! This show is an insult to the audience!! The only good thing is they went to see the VN communities in the Phillipines.. But Mr. Trinh Hoi from Asia already done a great job there...Listen to Leyna Nguyen and Nam Loc then you can really see how stupid VS MCs are!! Please don't insult the audiences' intelligence ! |
